Acute Services Redesign

The CCG is working with its partners to redesign hospital services - the process is called the Acute Services Redesign, or ASR.

This process has been led by the Island's Local Care Board, and on 1 February, 2018 the CCG's Governing Body voted to support the direction of travel proposed by this Board - that hospital services should remain local when possible, and only be provided in larger specialist centres on the mainland where that is deemed clinically right.
