Complaints and Compliments

We welcome feedback, good or bad, as it helps us improve services. If you would like to comment on any aspect of our service, or you have any concerns, please raise these initially with any of the following people who will endeavor to resolve your concern as quickly as possible:

  • The clinician providing the service;
  • The person in charge of the service/department;
  • The practice manager; or
  • The Commissioning Quality Team.

If you would like advice or wish to make a complaint in accordance with the NHS Complaints Procedure, you may contact the Commissioning Quality Team in writing, by email or by telephone. A team member will discuss your concerns with you and the options available to you.

Ombudsman

If after further investigation or a meeting you remain unhappy with the way in which we have handled your complaint you can refer your concerns to the Parliamentary and Health Services Ombudsman who is completely independent of the NHS. Visit www.ombudsman.org.uk.

Independent Complaints Advocacy Service (ICAS)

If you require independent support to raise a concern or to make a complaint about our service contact the Independent Complaints Advocacy Service (ICAS), a free confidential and independent service, providing support to those wishing to make a complaint about the NHS.
