Managing Conflicts of Interest

The Isle of Wight Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) handles conflicts of interest by ensuring they are identified, declared and managed in and open and transparent way, this is achieved through compliance with the general principle ‘if in doubt disclose.’

As outlined in the Isle of Wight CCG Standards of Business Conduct Policy, the Group will maintain a register of interests for all declared interests from the members of its Governing Body and members of its committees, sub‐committees and members of staff in line with National Guidance.

Members of the Governing Body and committee's should identify changes to their record on their register as soon as they are aware of it and in any event no later than 28 days of the change. This can be done through formally recording interests during meetings, or by completing and returning a Declarations Form.
